Terms of Use
Last updated: October 30, 2026.
In short: This page is the deal for using this site and its tools, in full.
Effective date: October 29, 2026 | Between you and Dogeshorts.
By using this website and its tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What this site offers
This site offers a set of small online tools - the pilots listed on the home page - as free tools you use right on this site, plus a paid owner's pack for each tool. Features may change as the tools are improved. If a change removes a feature a paying customer is actively using, we will give reasonable notice by email first.
Prices - what you pay
- Each tool's owner's pack costs $3 one-time, in US dollars. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews.
- The tools themselves are free to use on this site. Buying is only for the pack.
The email list
- Joining the email list is free. It is not an order, and nothing is ever charged for it.
- We email the list about new tools and updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Payments
Paid purchases are completed on the checkout pages of our payment processor, PayPal. The processor's terms also apply to the payment itself. Every purchase is one-time: nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel.
Acceptable use
- Use the tools only for lawful purposes, and only with content and data you have the right to use.
- Uptime and Website Change Monitor: you may only monitor websites that you own or that you are authorized in writing to check. Do not use the monitor to harass, burden, or probe someone else's site.
- Do not use the generators (QR codes, barcodes, invoices, forms, or product descriptions) to deceive anyone, imitate another business, or create fraudulent documents or labels.
- Do not try to disrupt the site, bypass its limits, or access another user's data.
We may block a visitor who breaks these rules. Where it is safe and practical, we will warn first.
Your content
What you create with the tools - your invoices, labels, forms, tracked codes, and records - is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You give us only the limited permission needed to store and process it so the tool can work for you. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you create and publish with the tools.
Our intellectual property
The site, the tools, and their design and text belong to Dogeshorts or its licensors. Buying a pack gives you that pack to keep, and the tools on the site stay free to use. It does not transfer ownership, and you may not copy the service itself or resell access to it.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is". We work to keep them accurate and available, but we do not promise they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. In particular, the free lite versions are offered for evaluation with no warranty at all. See also the short disclaimer on each tool's page.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with the site or a tool is limited to the amount you paid us for that tool in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost business, or decisions made based on a tool's output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including your statutory consumer rights.
Ending use
You may stop using the site at any time. We may end or suspend the service for a user who breaks these terms. If we shut a pilot down entirely, paying customers will be told by email in advance and refunded in full for anything paid for but not delivered, as described in the Refund Policy.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, and disputes will be handled in the courts of California, unless your local consumer law gives you a different right. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the effective date and email active customers before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect means you accept the changed terms.
